ToonClub Pirate

As some may be aware I'm lucky enough to be participate in Toon Club, a weekly topic drawing blog. This was last weeks entry. While many people are inspired by Pirates of the Caribean, I found more inspiration in the Gobelin's short, Pyrats!

also thanks for checking my demo reel...i really want to focus on anuimation and the drawing side of things, the animation on my reel is all in my first 6 or 8 months animating so its a little rough. since then ive tweaked it a little and im working on other stuff. i know you are a champ at animating so if its ok with you i would love to show you some of my stuff as i develop it in the future. by the way how is the studio that you are at??
thanks again

I noticed that Joe Rohde is going to be at Siggraph. He's pretty interesting to listen to (Once you are able to ignore the jingling of his ear.)

This is good stuff, man. There's a real feeling of weight under that monstrous bird. I love that its feet cover the guy's entire humerus. Impressive. Looking forward to more.
